Anchorage bikes are then consolidated with other cargo for onward shipping. All Anchorage bikes must be framed/crated due to this rehandle and consolidation effort.

ALL EXPORT VIA OAKLAND
If our FCL timing does not suit then we have other container share options. The container traffic of classic cars from Oakland to East Coast Australia is significant.

TIMINGS CONSIDERATIONS:
- USA school summer holidays run Jun Jul Aug
- Little Gold Creek border crossing (Alaska / Yukon) open late May to mid Sep
- High altitude sections of the Great Divide Ride (GDR) good from Jul to Sep when the snow will have melted and dried out
- South-West deserts too hot late Jun to start Sep. Baja Rally is end Sep to start Oct
- Sep can be the sweet spot to finsh up high altitude sections and transition to lower sections
- Sep Oct is magical time for USA South-West with crowds subsided and beautiful Autumn riding weather set in. We run our return shipment from Oakland early November for this very reason!
